De Gea signs new deal with Man United
The Spain goalkeeper was expected to move to Real Madrid this summer but, following the bizarre breakdown of his transfer, has now signed fresh terms at Old Trafford.
David de Gea has signed a new four-year contract with Manchester United, with the option to extend for a further year.
The 24-year-old Spain international, who arrived from Atletico Madrid in 2011 was expected to seal a return move to La Liga to join rival Real Madrid this summer.
However, following the move collapsing on transfer deadline day due to documents arriving late, De Gea has opted to sign fresh terms at the Premier League club.
