Barzani’s role in librating Sinjar valued
President Barzani meets Japanese Ambassador to Iraq
President of Kurdistan Region, Masoud Barzani discussed with the Japanese Ambassador to Iraq, Fumio Iwai the confrontation with extremism and relations between the two sides.
A statement by the Presidency of the Region, said that the Japanese Ambassador congratulated the President of the region of Sinjar liberation, stressing that his country viewed with concern the security situation and stability in Iraq and the Middle East.”
For his part, Barzani thanked the Japanese government’s position and wished success for the Japanese Ambassador in Iraq.
On the situation in Sinjar after liberation, Barzani explained that a large part of this city was destroyed after the occupation at the hands of terrorists, so the government of the Kurdistan region and the Peshmerga forces will be in support for the reconstruction of this city on an ongoing basis”, referring to the importance of keeping the region stable and secure.
Barzani received a delegation from KDP politburo
A Krdistan Democratic Party (KDP) politburo delegation headed by Fazil Mirani, KDP politburo secretary, visited Kurdistan Region president in Dijla Front last week and congratulated him for the liberation of Sinjar.
The delegation appreciated Barzani's role in the liberation process and paid tribute to the Kurdish fighters who sacrificed their lives for the sake of freedom of the region.
