The Kurdish Globe - - NEWS -

During his visit to the United Arab Emirates on his Persian Gulf tour, Kurdistan Region President Massoud Barzani met with senior UAE authorities.

One purpose of the visit was to address the issues between the UAE-based Dana- Gas Company and the KRG, which ended up in a London court.

The court, last week, made a decision in favor of DanaGas, ruling that the KRG has to pay around US$2 billion to the company.

DanaGas, headquartered in Abu Dhabi, has been exploring natural gas fields in Kurdistan since 2007. Reports suggest that DanaGas has agreed to put an end to the issues and in return the KRG will allow the company to complete its projects in the Region.
