London artist displays Bray paintings in Arts Centre
A COLLECTION of paintings of Bray by Raymond Osborn, a Londoner who has lived in Ireland for over 30 years, will be shown in Signal Arts Centre from September 16 to 28.
A designer by profession, Raymond originally took up painting as a hobby and as a way to unwind, but for the past few years he has been a full time artist.
His exhibition is entitled ‘A Year in Bray.’ Raymond has exhibited all over Ireland and the rest of the world including the US, Canada, Australia and New Zealand.
This exhibition consists of a series of urban landscapes of Bray based on a one year time line.
Raymond lived in Bray for 12 years and was very aware of how in a seaside resort the contrast between winter and summer is so much greater than in other towns.
