Motions are left unaddressed
A NUMBER of motions due to be tabled on Monday were not addressed at Wicklow County Council due to the amount of time spent on other matters.
Cllr. Christopher Fox and Cllr. John Ryan submitted a joint proposal that an improved system should be introduced to inform the public of items on public display to encourage greater participa- tion on planning matters. According to Cllr. Tom Fortune an action plan should be put in place for Lott Lane, Kilcoole on lands acquired by the council.
A motion which Cllr. Jimmy O’Shaughnessy and Cllr. Conal Kavanagh intended to propose was for a fulltime litter warden to be employed at Brittas Bay as well as the introduction of a ¤ 200 on the spot fine for those who leave rubbish behind them.
