Queen of Peace Ad­ven­ture Youth Club wel­comes new mem­ber Eve Bur­rell. Club’s an­nual triathlon, bar­beque, and pre­sen­ta­tion of ca­noe­ing cer­tifi­cates is planned for Satur­day Septem­ber 20. Start­ing in Oc­to­ber home­work classes will be held on Thurs­day af­ter­noons. The club is still seek­ing new leaders.


The Ve­vay Ac­tive Re­tire­ment As­so­ci­a­tion (VARA) in­vites peo­ple to come along to the Villa Pacis be­side Our lady Queen of Peace Church on Fri­day morn­ing at 10.30am.

An Out­ing to Done­gal will take place from Oc­to­ber 13th to Oc­to­ber 18th A de­posit of ¤30 must be paid on re­serv­ing places which are lim­ited.


Jack Kickey has qual­i­fied as a one star diver on Satur­day Au­gust 30. He started div­ing this year with Bray Divers. Con­grat­u­la­tions to Michael Dono­hoe who gained his two star diver cer­tifi­cate on Satur­day Au­gust 30.

Michael is a mem­ber of At­lantis Divers Club, and he was tested by Bray Divers. Jack and Michael’s newly gained cer­tifi­cates opens the doors to div­ing na­tion­ally and in­ter­na­tion­ally.
