THE Ir­ish Driv­ers Ed­u­ca­tion As­so­ci­a­tion (has launched a new ‘Steer Clear Driv­ing Skills Man­ual & Log Book’ in­cor­po­rat­ing driv­ing les­son plans, men­tors guide and prac­tice ses­sions. The book pro­vides Ir­ish learner driv­ers with a clear struc­ture for learn­ing to drive. The men­tors sec­tion gives par­ents the in­for­ma­tion and guid­ance needed to ac­com­pany the learner and be an ef­fec­tive men­tor. MAZDA has been named ‘Best Car­maker’ at the sec­ond an­nual Which? Awards, which recog­nise the com­pa­nies and in­di­vid­u­als that best serve the in­ter­ests of mo­torists.

In a highly com­pli­men­tary awards sum­ma­tion, Which? Mag­a­zine praised Mazda for its: ‘Blend of ex­cel­lent value for money, reli­a­bil­ity and in­no­va­tion.’ LEXUS Ire­land re­cently sold its 1000th hy­brid model, three years af­ter the lux­ury mar­que in­tro­duced the world’s first hy­brid SUV in 2005, the RX 400h.
