Kraftwerk con­cert is moved from Lug­gala

THE VENUE for the up­com­ing Kraftwerk Con­cert at Lug­gala Es­tate has been changed due to the ad­verse weather con­di­tions ex­pe­ri­enced in Wick­low re­cently.

Pod Con­certs have an­nounced that due to the river at Lough Dan burst­ing its banks on the Lug­gala Es­tate last week­end the Kraftwerk con­cert, sched­uled for Septem­ber 13 will now be held in the grounds of Royal Hospi­tal Kil­main­ham, Dublin.

Pro­moter John Reynolds has said that due to fur­ther ad­verse weather con­di­tions be­ing fore­cast for the com­ing week pro­duc­tion and build­ing of the site at the Lug­gala Es­tate is im­pos­si­ble

‘I am per­son­ally deeply dis­ap­pointed that this event can not take place on the Lug­gala Es­tate which is one of the most awe in­spir­ing and breath­tak­ing lo­ca­tions in Ire­land.’ ex­plained Mr. Reynolds.

Tick­ets for the event, which will see God­fa­thers of Elec­tronic Mu­sic Kraftwerk per­form­ing an in­cred­i­bly spe­cial two hour long set, will still be valid for Royal Hospi­tal Kil­main­ham.

The ticket price for the con- cert in­cluded a bus trans­fer to and from Lug­gala Es­tate and ticket hold­ers will now be re­funded the bus fare of ¤ 20 on pre­sen­ta­tion of their ticket on the day of the show.

Al­ter­na­tively a full re­fund is avail­able to ticket hold­ers who do not wish to at­tend Kraftwerk at the new venue.

Door times will re­main the same open­ing at 3 p.m. and fin­ish­ing at 11.30 p.m.
