Southern Cross Road is in need of another tidy up. Two of the red bus shelters are eyesores due to vandalism. There is no doubt that these can be rendered almost vandal proof, thus saving the owner and the insurers involved both time and money.
Congratulations to the following who were successful candidates for level one proficiency canoeing certification,: Ruairi Flanagan, Amy Temple, Leanne Mohan, Sean Hannon, lee Henley, Ayesha Fitzpatrick, and Robyn Slater. John Glynn was the tester, and the test was from the Queen of Peace Adventure Youth Club boathouse on Bray Seafront on Tuesday September 2.
Last chance to enrol for a scuba diving course in Jackie Skelly’s starting in October and running for six weeks. Training to national and international standards.

The Vevay Active Retirement Association (VARA) invites people to come along to the Villa Pacis beside Our lady Queen of Peace Church on Friday morning at 10.30am for Art, Music, Table Tennis etc. or just for a cuppa and a chat.
