Two doves set up home at church

Bray People - - Bray People -

SOME UNUSUAL visitors have been attracting plenty of attention from passers-by at the Holy Redeemer Church on Bray’s Main Street in the last few days.

A pair of white doves, both of which have tags on their legs, have been trotting up and down the steps of the church and pecking at the ground in the porch since the weekend.

Staff, who said the birds are very welcome, said that they don’t know where they came from but they could well have been part of a wedding ceremony. ‘There were more of them on Saturday, at least four or five,’ said a parish representative.

The beautiful doves are pure white with fanned tail-feathers.

The doves are special guests in Bray.
