Public meeting is assured that recycling service will continue
A MEETING was held at St. Peter’s Parish hall last Thursday night to discuss the mobile recycling unit.
The meeting went ahead despite councillors having confirmed with the Town Clerk at a recent meeting that the service will continue.
Funding was recently pulled by Wicklow County Council, but Bray Town Council have committed to continuing to provide the service at lease for the month of September.
The Town Clerk assured members that alternative arrangements are being made and that she is sure that the residents will be happy when they are announced after their confirmation.
Owen Gallagher of Sinn Fein had organised the meeting.
