Pub­lic meet­ing is as­sured that re­cy­cling ser­vice will con­tinue

A MEET­ING was held at St. Peter’s Parish hall last Thurs­day night to dis­cuss the mo­bile re­cy­cling unit.

The meet­ing went ahead de­spite coun­cil­lors hav­ing con­firmed with the Town Clerk at a re­cent meet­ing that the ser­vice will con­tinue.

Fund­ing was re­cently pulled by Wick­low County Coun­cil, but Bray Town Coun­cil have com­mit­ted to con­tin­u­ing to pro­vide the ser­vice at lease for the month of Septem­ber.

The Town Clerk as­sured mem­bers that al­ter­na­tive ar­range­ments are be­ing made and that she is sure that the res­i­dents will be happy when they are an­nounced af­ter their con­fir­ma­tion.

Owen Gal­lagher of Sinn Fein had or­gan­ised the meet­ing.
