Luas line progress is held up for now
THE TOWN MANAGER Des O’Brien gave an update on the Luas B2 line scheme, which will see the transport facility come to Bray.
He said that the Bray environs plan has been delayed and so, therefore has a section 49 that the Railway Procurement Authority will insist upon to proceed.
He also said that the Dublin Road widening scheme would need to be done and that he is slightly concerned that Dun Laoghaire Rathdown Council has yet to enter an application for permission.
’They have done a lot of work on it, however,’ he said, before telling members that the item would be kept on the agenda to keep them informed as to its progress.
