La Touche Legacy boost for char­i­ties

THE AN­NUAL launch of the 20th La Touche Legacy took place last week in the Druids Glen Golf Club. The com­mit­tee pre­sented three cheques to lo­cal com­mu­nity groups to as­sist with their work.

The lo­cal com­mu­nity groups se­lected this year were Gael Scoil, Ed­u­cate To­gether and Grey­stones Bowl­ing Club.

The 2008 Sem­i­nar, which is the 20th event be­ing or­gan­ised, will cen­tre on the re­la­tion­ship be­tween Lo­cal Gov­ern­ment and the Busi­ness Sec­tor.

A panel of speak­ers has once more been as­sem­bled for the week­end, in­clud­ing Sean Mul­ryan, Sean Dunne and our Sean Fitz­patrick .
