HOLY REDEEMER

Driv­ers Needed – Nurs­ing Homes: Vol­un­teers are wanted to drive parish­ioners from nurs­ing homes to Mass on Sun­days. You can help by ei­ther driv­ing one month out of three or by stand­ing in for hol­i­day re­lief. Please give your de­tails to one of the priests of the parish, the Parish Of­fice ( 286 8413) or at the sac­risty af­ter Mass.

Cof­fee Dock: The Cof­fee Dock will re­open on Sun­days af­ter the work in the Lit­tle Flower Hall is com­pleted.

Change in Mass Time: Com­menc­ing on Mon­day Septem­ber 29th. Evening Masses will be cel­e­brated at the ear­lier time of 7pm.

Date for the Di­ary: On Mon­day Septem­ber 29th every­one is in­vited to come to­gether and join to cel­e­brate and give thanks for Fr. John’s 34 years in Holy Redeemer. Fr. John will cel­e­brate Mass at 7pm af­ter which there will be a re­cep­tion in the Lit­tle Flower Hall to which every­one is in­vited.

Change of Name for Carer’s Group: Bray Com­mu­nity Helpers is the new name for the Holy Redeemer’s Carer’s Group which vis­its and helps the house­bound in what ever way they can.

A visit from some­body dif­fer­ent can re­ally en­hance the life of some­one who is un­able to leave their home and over the years vol­un­teers have found that their life is en­hanced by those they visit. If you have 1 hour a week to spare or if you need a lit­tle sup­port please call He­len, Sylvia or Wally at 086-8870714.

First Holy Com­mu­nion 2009: A meet­ing for par­ents who wish their child to cel­e­brate the Sacra­ment of First Com­mu­nion will take place to­mor­row night (Thurs­day) at 8pm in St. Pa­trick’s School Hall, Ve­vay Road, Bray.

Con­fir­ma­tion 2009: Those who wish their child to cel­e­brate the Sacra­ment of Con­for­ma­tion in Holy Redeemer and who have not all ready ap­plied through the lo­cal schools are asked to com­plete a form avail­able in the sac­risty and re­turn it to the parish of­fice this week.

An Cor Gaelach sings at the 9am Mass on the sec­ond and last Sun­day of each month. Weekly prac­tice is in Room 1 of the Parish Cen­tre ev­ery Thurs­day at 8pm. New mem­bers are al­ways wel­come – Fior Failte. Those in­ter­ested in join­ing should call 0879422151.
