ST. JAMES’ CRINKEN

This Sun­day’s Ser­vices of Wor­ship in St. James’ Crinken Church, Crinken are 11 a.m. Morn­ing Prayer and 7 p.m. Evening Praise.

ST. ANNE’S PARISH

Mass is cel­e­brated in St. Anne’s Church at 10 a.m Mon­day to Satur­day. Dur­ing July and Au­gust there will be no Evening Mass at 7.30 p.m Mon­day to Fri­day. Week­end mass times are 6.30 p.m. Satur­day Vigil mass and Sun­day at 8 a.m., (9am in St. Colum­cille’s Hospi­tal), 10.30 a.m. (fam­ily mass), mid­day and 6 p.m.

Con­fes­sions are heard on Satur­days af­ter the 10 a.m. mass, be­tween 12.30 p.m. and 1 p.m. and af­ter the 6.30 p.m. mass.

Ex­po­si­tion of the Blessed Sacra­ment takes place each Tues­day af­ter the 10 a.m. mass un­til 11 a.m. Mirac­u­lous Medal De­vo­tions take place at the Mon­day 10 a.m. mass.

Bap­tisms take place in St. Anne’s Church at 12.45 p.m. on the first Sun­day of the Month and at 5 p.m. on the sec­ond, third and fourth Satur­days of the month.

Rath­michael Women’s Group: An Evening of Card-Mak­ing with Sharon Bur­rell of Celtic Cards takes place at 8pm on Wed­nes­day Septem­ber 24th in the Erck Hall which is im­me­di­ately ad­ja­cent to Rath­michael Church.

There will be a demon­stra­tion of Sharon’s su­perb card-mak­ing skills­fol­lowed by time for every­one to make cards and the serv­ing of light re­fresh­ments will round off the evening.

HIS­TOR­I­CAL SO­CI­ETY

On Wed­nes­day Oc­to­ber 1st monthly meet­ings of the Rath­michael His­tor­i­cal So­ci­ety re­sume at 8pm in the Bur­ton Hall, Rath­michael School, Stone­bridge Road (Dublin Road end), Shankill, at which Bryan MacMa­hon will present his lec­tures on ‘ The San­des Homes.’ James Scan­nell will give a short talk on ‘3 Lo­cal Vic­tims of the RMS Le­in­ster Tragedy. All wel­come to at­tend – ad­mis­sion ¤3.
