Enniskerry YC A 0, Wicklow Town A 1: Enniskerry slipped to their second defeat of the new season at the hands of a much improved Wicklow Town last season.
Indeed it was one of the players who made the switch from Wicklow Rovers to Wicklow Town who scored the all important winner, as former Bray Wanderers man Maurice Dunne stepped up to convert his side’s m87th minute penalty and send them into 4 th place in the league.
St. Peter’s Bhoys A 3, Ashford Rovers 1: This win for St. Peter’s Bhoys has seen them rise up to third spot while it leaves Ashford Rovers, promoted from Division 1 last year, lie fourth from bottom.
Danny Byrne was the man who registered Rovers goal but it proved no match for the Bray outfit, with Omar Taha equalizing Byrne’s effort before Fergie Martin and Paul O’Reilly gave the home side the win.
