RE­SULTS

Con­grat­u­la­tions to all our stu­dents in the Leav­ing Cer­tifi­cate Class of 2008. The re­sults at­tained in the State Ex­am­i­na­tions this year were sec­ond to none. 17% of the stu­dents re­ceived points in ex­cess of 500 points. The av­er­age points at­tained was 409 points. This rep­re­sents an out­stand­ing achieve­ment for all par­ties con­cerned. We wish our stu­dents the best of luck on their ca­reer paths, and look for­ward to see­ing them back in the School in the fu­ture.

Our Ju­nior Cer­tifi­cate stu­dents (now Tran­si­tion Years) also ac­quit­ted them­selves ex­tremely well in the State Ex­am­i­na­tions with a num­ber of stu­dents at­tain­ing grades in ex­cess of 7 A’s. Their com­mit­ment to their stud­ies has paid div­i­dends. Well done on this su­perb achieve­ment.
