ST. JAMES’ CRINKEN

This Sun­day’s Ser­vices of Wor­ship in St. James’ Crinken Church, Crinken are 11 a.m. Morn­ing Prayer and 7 p.m. Evening Praise.

ST. ANNE’S PARISH

Mass is cel­e­brated in St. Anne’s Church at 10 a.m Mon­day to Satur­day. Dur­ing July and Au­gust there will be no Evening Mass at 7.30 p.m Mon­day to Fri­day. Week­end mass times are 6.30 p.m. Satur­day Vigil mass and Sun­day at 8 a.m., (9am in St. Colum­cille’s Hospi­tal), 10.30 a.m. (fam­ily mass), mid­day and 6 p.m. Con­fes­sions are heard on Satur­days af­ter the 10 a.m. mass, be­tween 12.30 p.m. and 1 p.m. and af­ter the 6.30 p.m. mass.

Mirac­u­lous Medal De­vo­tions take place at the Mon­day 10 a.m. mass.

Bap­tisms take place in St. Anne’s Church at 12.45 p.m. on the first Sun­day of the Month and at 5 p.m. on the sec­ond, third and fourth Satur­days of the month. A month’s no­tice is re­quired. Please con­tact Parish Sec­re­tary Jack Wil­liams in St. Anne’s Parish Of­fice to make your ar­range­ments.

The Parish Of­fice is open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Mon­day, Tues­day, Thurs­day and Fri­day. St. Anne’s Re­source Cen­tre is open from 9.30 a.m. to 5 p.m. each week­day.

Week­day evening Masses at 7.20pm have re­sumed.

If you would like a priest to call by and bless your home, Fr. Michael O’Dwyer will be avail­able to do so. To ar­range, please call the Parish Of­fice at 282 2277.

Morn­ing Prayer is said each week­day morn­ing in St. Anne’s Church at 9.25am and all are wel­come to at­tend.

This Fri­day be­ing the Fist Fri­day of the Month, there will be Per­pet­ual Ado­ra­tion of the Blessed Sacra­ment in the Ado­ra­tion Chapel from af­ter 10.30am Mass un­til the 7.30pm Mass. Priests and Min­is­ters of the Eucharist will be bring­ing Holy Com­mu­nion to the sick and the house­bound and if you know of any­one who would wel­come such a visit, please leave their name and ad­dress into St. Anne’s Re­source Cen­tre.

On Satur­day Oc­to­ber 11th there will a Day of Prayer given by Anne Healy of the Ver­bum Dei Com­mu­nity in St. Anne’s Re­source Cen­tre from 10.30am to 5pm. Please bring a packed lunch and do­na­tion. Fur­ther de­tails from Brid­gene at 282 1426 or Bernie at 2825966.

Ser­vices of Wor­ship in Rath­michael Church for this Sun­day (The Twen­ti­eth Sun­day af­ter Trin­ity) are at 8.30am, 11am and 7pm.

CRAFT EVENING

Last Wed­nes­day night Sharon Bur­rell of Celtic Cards demon­strated the art and craft of mak­ing cards at an evening of Card-Mak­ing in the Erck Hall.Every­one had a great time and the or­ga­niz­ers wish to ex­tend their thanks to all those who sup­ported this event.

IN­DIAN CUI­SINE NIGHT

The Alpa/In-Be­tween Group ex­tend their sin­cere thanks to all those who sup­ported last Fri­day night’s ‘Au­then­tic In­dian Cui­sine’ evening with Dr. Thomas and Med­hula Ja­cob in the Bur­ton Hall of Rath­michael School. The re­tir­ing bas­ket was in aid of Op­er­a­tion Smile.
