150 new jobs on the way
AMIDST news of job losses nationwide and increasing worry about the local economy, medical company Nypro has announced plans to create at least 150 jobs over the next four years following redevelopment of its Bray plant.
The company was established almost 30 years ago and already employs 200 people, as well as a number of local contractors.
It manufactures devices for large healthcare companies, including Procter and Gamble, Schering Plough and Unilever, and will begin production of a unique needlefree drug delivery device later this year. The move has already created 25 jobs so far.
