Crowd of 100 helps Denise to celebrate
ABOUT 100 PEOPLE went to the Royal Hotel ballroom on Saturday night to celebrate Kilmacanogue native Denise Bradshaw’s 30th birthday.
Denise, who now lives in Gorey, was joined by her husband Karl and their children Ian and Megan, as well as her parents Christy and Bridie Devlin.
Her sister Michelle Hall and brother-in-law John went along too, as did her brothers Paul, Ian and Shane and Shane’s wife Ruth.
Unfortunately her other brother Jason lives in New Zealand with his wife who has just had a new baby so wasn’t able to come but sent over a gift and card and his best wishes.
There were other extended family members there on the night, as well as neighbours old and new and colleagues from Bank of Ireland Cabinteely.
Denise’s son’s teacher, who used to work with the birthday girl, made a special effort to come all the way from Gorey for the party.
Denise made a speech thanking everyone for coming and for the lovely presents, including a Wii Fit from husband Karl.
Finger food and cake were served at the party and entertainment on the night was provided by a DJ.
