DIVI­SION 2 Ark­low Town B 1, St. Pa­trick’s 0: Four games played and it is Ark­low Town who cur­rently oc­cupy the top of the pile af­ter this nar­row­est of wins over Pat’s. The three points were se­cured thanks to Ja­son Collins. Avon­more FC 3, St. Kevin’s 0: St. Kevin’s stay at the top of Divi­sion will have been all too brief for their lik­ing.

Eu­gene Dunne scored two goals and Oliver Byrne man­aged one as Avon­more se­cured their 2nd win of the sea­son. Celtic Stars 2, Ark­low United B 1: A hard fought match which saw three cards per­haps harshly is­sued even­tu­ally swung in Celtic Star’s favour.

Conor Byrne and Luke O’Brien both net­ted for the home side. Red­bank United 1, Bal­ly­waltrim FC 3: Af­ter get­ting their first win of the sea­son last year Bal­ly­waltrim FC trav­elled up to Red­bank United and came away with an­other three. Stephen Mur­phy, Glen Joyce and Tarik Taha all net­ted for the vis­i­tors. Damien Kennedy scored for Red­bank. St. An­thony’s B 9, Fas­sagh Row YC 2: Not a great day at the of­fice for Fas­sagh Row YC last Sun­day as they trav­elled down to Kil­coole and con­ceded nine goals.

The Bray side man­aged two goals of their own but it was nowhere near good enough to beat the home side who went goal mad.

Martin Gre­gory hit a tre­ble, John Keogh a dou­ble, and Richard Woods, Mark Travers, Ross Hack­ett and Ja­son Walsh all net­ted sin­gles as Anto’s go their first win of the new sea­son.
