Estate lights are never off
CLLR. John Byrne, questioned why there are still problems with the lighting at Richmond Park at Bray Town Council’s meeting last Tuesday night.
The lights have been on non-stop at the new Fassaroe Estate since it was opened earlier this year, except at the shop, where the light is not working.
The Town Engineer explained that they were not set properly, and that the matter is one for the contractor to correct.
Mr. O’Neill said that the council is not paying for the extra electricity but per light and that the contractor will not be paid until the lights are operating properly.
Also concerned about the lights in Richmond Park were Cllrs. Anne Egan, Stephen Matthews, and John Brady. Cllr. Egan added that she is glad to see that a number of windows there have been replaced.
