Driver is fined total of ¤450
ANEWTOWNwoman charged with a series of traffic offences told Judge Murrough Connellan that she had experienced some personal problems.
‘This is a personal matter too,’ he told Jean Farrell, 159 Season Park. Farrell, (18) who was fined ¤100 for failing to produce an insurance certificate, ¤100 for driving without a licence and ¤250 for using a vehicle without NCT.
She told the court that the vehicle did not belong to her but to her boyfriend. Judge Connellan took in to consideration charges of non-display of a disc and failure to produce a driving licence.
Farrell, who is in college, said that she was doing her mock leaving cert exams at the time she was pulled over.
