Tackling graffiti in council estates
THE GRAFFITI scheme has been restarted in Local Authority estates in the area, whereby the litter warden arranges cleaning of reported incidences of graffiti in those areas.
Cllr. Anne Ferris asked at last week’s Bray Town Council meeting if the council or litter warden would have any way of dealing with a situation where a resident in a private estate refused to remove graffiti.
She wondered if anything could be done if a residents’ association or other body had asked them to remove it and they would not.
Triona Irving, the Housing Officer, said that she would investigate the matter.
