Greystones motorist gets four-year ban
A GREYSTONES man who failed to stop at a Garda checkpoint has received a number of suspended prison sentences at Arklow District Court.
Michael Connors with an address at 119 Charlesland Court, Greystones was charged with drunken driving, failing to stop for a Garda, no insurance, non display of disc and failure to pro- duce documents at Ballycooleen, Avoca on January 28 of this year.
Judge Murrough Connellan imposed a threemonth sentence for the drunken driving, one month for failure to stop and three months for no inusrance. All sentences were suspended in the defendant’s own bond to keep the peace. A four-year driving disqualification was also imposed.
