On Fri­day Oc­to­ber 10th twenty mem­bers of the Queen of Peace Ad­ven­ture Youth Club went on a night climb to the cross on Bray Head. De­spite the fog, and the rain all en­joyed the event. This was the club’s first Fri­day night ac­tiv­ity of the sea­son. Next week the climb will be on the big Su­gar­loaf.

Awards were made to the three best at­ten­dees at the ca­noe ses­sions th­ese in­cluded Ry­bon Slater, Lee Hen­ley, and Pearl Dut­ton. The club wel­comes the re­turn of leader Tracey McGiff.


The Ve­vay Ac­tive Re­tire­ment As­so­ci­a­tion (VARA) in­vites peo­ple to come along to the Villa Pacis, be­side Our Lady Queen of Peace Church on Fri­day morn­ing at 10.30am for Art, Mu­sic, Ta­ble Ten­nis etc. or just for a cuppa and a chat. New mem­bers are wel­come.
