GAA - a night to remember
KILMACANOGUE G.A.A. club wishes to honour the 1983 Junior Championship winning team and the very successful 1958 team with an evening in the Glencormac Inn.
This will take place following the annual Mass for the deceased members of the club on Friday 21st November and all are welcome. Mass will be celebrated at 8pm and afterwards finger-food will be served in the Glencormac Inn where photographic memorabilia will be on display.
It is hoped that as many former players as possible can attend so if you were part of either of these teams please pass on the word to your former team-mates.
Training for the U8s and U10’s is changing venue to the Astro Turf field in Charlseland, beside Jackie Skellys for the winter months. It has also moved to the new time of 7pm to 8 pm on Fridays and the trainers ask that you be there 10 minutes before 7 to maximise the hour.
A subsidised charge of 2 euro per child towards rental will be collected every week. It is hoped to that good numbers will attend.
