There will be a Lunchtime Concert on Tuesday 28 October in the Glendalough Hotel. The concert will feature the Woodlands Community School Choir & Band from the U.K and Roundwood Comhaltas.
The concert will be followed by a fixed lunch. Admission to concert only ¤3 and lunch is ¤12. The proceeds of the concert are in aid of the Laragh Glendalough & District Active Retirement. For further information or to book your place call 0404 45600.

SATURDAY NIGHT DANCE
Social dancing takes place from 9.30 pm until late in the Brockagh Centre on Sat October 25 with Rio.
There is a free four week course on Healthy Eating which will take place in Rathnew on a Tuesday morning from Tuesday 4 November until Tuesday 25 November.

HOSPICE BENEFIT NIGHT
Danella Byrne and her family and friends are organising a Benefit Night (in memory of Danella’s sister, Daphne Jackson) to raise much-needed funds to support the work of Blackrock Hospice.
It will take place in the Woodenbridge Hotel on Saturday 1 November at 8 pm admission is ¤5. Entertainment on the night will include music by Abhainn Dubh, leg-waxing and head-shaving fundraisers, a monster raffle (BBQ, mobile phone, DVD player) and much more.
Raffle tickets are currently on sale ˆ prizes include ride-on lawnmower, washing machine, latest Nintendo DS. Danella and her family would like to thank everyone for their support and look forward to seeing one and all on the night.

CAR DRAW WINNERS
Congratulations to all the winners in the recent Car Draw in aid of the Brockagh Centre. Winners of 1st prize of the car were Pat, Margaret & Richard Cullen, Cormac O’Sulliavan won 2nd prize of ¤1,000, Marie & Edward Ward won a Holiday.
Hugh & Maura Cullen, Dolores Conway, Marinus Gaffney, Brendan & Gosia, Bridie Stacy and Josephine Byrne won 4th to 9th prizes of ¤100 and a bottle of whiskey and S&M Holden won 10th prize of ¤100.
