Mazda’s sales buck the trend
MAZDA Motor Ireland has achieved a record volume for the third quarter of this year of 4,357 units registered - the highest figure since they took over from the previous distributors in 2006.
Despite tough trading conditions and the recession, the figure represents an 8.4% year-on-year growth.
Mazda is now the largest growing volume manufacturer in the Ireland with an extra 337 Mazda models on the roads since last year.
MMI says it will will look to build on this their success through 2009. There are some exciting new product launches including some additional diesel engines for the Mazda6 range, an updated MX-5 and some changes to the BT-50 pick-up range.
