Glen­cor­mac United 1, St. Peter’s Bhoys B 4: Glen­cor­mac United’s promis­ing early start to life in the sec­ond tier of Wick­low soc­cer has come off the rails some­what lately af­ter the Kil­mac side came up against some of the fron­trun­ners in the divi­sion.

DIVI­SION 1 The Glens did man­age a goal through Tom Byrne but the vis­i­tors man­aged four; a Noel Stephens dou­ble and goals from Paul Far­rell and Dar­ren McIn­tyre.

Wick­low Rovers 5, New­town United B 1: Now that they have picked up their first win of the sea­son there seems to be no stop­ping Wick­low Rovers, who se­cured their sec­ond win of the sea­son with this big win over a strug­gling New­town United side.

Seán Tobin se­cured the match ball with a tre­ble. Conor Tobin and Aaron Earls also scored for Rovers. Anto Duffy net­ted for the vis­i­tors. Aughrim Rangers 3, Su­gar­loaf FC 0: Their early sea­son form had put them at the top of the ta­ble but Su­gar­loaf haven’t en­joyed the best of times in the last few weeks.

This time they went down to ti­tle con­tenders Aughrim Rangers, who had Rory O’Brien (2) and Niall Byrne (Penalty) to thank for se­cur­ing them the three points.

Wick­low Town 0, Wolfe Tone Celtic 5: Wolfe Tone Celtic fol­lowed up their con­vinc­ing win over Glen­cor­mac United with an­other im­pres­sive win, with bot­tom side Wick­low Town the op­po­si­tion time.

There were dou­bles for both Lee Ivory and Os­car Traynor star Gra­ham Devlin with Rob­bie Man­ley round­ing off the scor­ing.
