Bray cruise to em­phatic win

Bray Em­mets 2-15, Avon­dale 0-4: Bray Em­mets romped to a facile seven­teen points win over hap­less Avon­dale in their Ju­nior hurl­ing cham­pi­onship quar­ter-fi­nal match at Grey­stones on Fri­day night.

This game was ef­fec­tively over as a con­test be­fore half-time with the Bray men lead­ing by 2-9 to 0-1 at the break.

The two goals were scored by De­clan Glynn and Liam McGraynor while the points were com­piled by Colm Browne (0-8), Michael Browne (0-4), Oisin O hAn­naidh, Brian McCon­nell and Pádraig Nolan (0-1 each).
