Bray People - - Bray People -

AS GREYSTONES men Fearghal O Nuallain and Simon Evans prepare for their trip around the world aboard their trustee bikes, they have been going around primary schools in the area telling the fascinated children all about their forthcoming adventure.

Starting in January, the adventurers will spend 14 months circumnavigating the globe over a distance of 25,000km in aid of depression charity, Aware, and to highlight the effects of climate change.

The duo will have the benefit of solar panels on their bikes to ensure they have enough power for mobile phones, cameras and anything else they may need.

Both aged 26, Fearghal is currently a student and working in the wine trade, while Simon is a structural engineer based in Cambridge.

Fearghal and Simon used to live across the green from each other in Greystones, where they once traded National Geographic magazines and Asterix books as children.
