Not a dry eye left as Film Club screens ‘Garage’ hit

Bray People - - Bray People -

THE second night of the monthly Wicklow Film Club barely left a dry eye left in the house once the screening of ‘Garage’ ended.

The club met up in The Leitrim Lounge, where a visiting couple of tourists from Hollywood, USA, happened to be dining.

They decided to stay around for the movie and ended up winning a bottle of whiskey kindly donated by Clifford Dowling.

The next sitting of the film club takes place in the Leitrim Lounge on November 17.

All the Film club proceeds go to the Community Resource Centre fund.

Another fundraiser for the community centre takes place on Sat- urday November 8 at Kavanagh’s Shop, Main Street, Wicklow town - a bring and buy sale takes place between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m..

Anyone wishing to make any donations visit the shop on Monday November 3 or Tuesday, November 4. For further information contact Pat at (087) 2771871.

Peter and Anna Schmitt from Hollywood USA attended the Film Club.
