LOUR­DES DE­POSIT

Names and a €200 de­posit per per­son for Lour­des will be col­lected this Satur­day 6th De­cem­ber be­fore Mass at the bot­tom of the church at 7pm. Names should be given as on your pass­port with your de­posit. Pass­port forms and E-111 forms will be avail­able if any­one needs them. Any­one who wants to con­tact me can ring 0404 45276 any evening af­ter 8pm.

CHRIST­MAS BINGO

A Christ­mas Fun Bingo will take place on Thurs­day the 11th De­cem­ber in the Old School from 8-10pm. The Christ­mas Bingo will in­clude a cup of tea and a raf­fle for every­one. Fam­ily mem­bers and friends are more than wel­come to at­tend. €5 per book and great raf­fle prizes. Come along and en­joy.

LUNCH CLUB

The Round­wood Ac­tive Re­tire­ment Lunch Club will take place on Fri­day 19th De­cem­ber in the Round­wood Inn at 1.30pm.

HIS­TOR­I­CAL JOUR­NAL

The Round­wood and District His­tor­i­cal So­ci­ety will launch their 19th Jour­nal in the Round­wood Inn on the 5th De­cem­ber at 8.15pm. The jour­nals will be on sale in the lo­cal shops.

ST. CATHER­INE’S

There will be a stall and raf­fle in aid of the St. Cather­ine’s two schools at the Christ­mas Fair in Laragh on 7th De­cem­ber. Please sup­port this wor­thy cause. All do­na­tions ap­pre­ci­ated and can be made by con­tact­ing Mar­garet at 086 8064956.

LOTTO RE­SULTS

There was no jack­pot win­ner in last weeks lotto, the num­bers drawn were 9, 12, 22 & 27. There were eight match three win­ners, G Be­han, James Chaill, Anna Do­herty, Tom Kennedy, Pa­trick McDon­ald, B Roche, Garry Kin­sella & N Fletcher. Next weeks jack­pot will be €10,400.

SET DANC­ING

Round­wood Set Dancers are hold­ing their Christ­mas Party Set Dance night in Ka­vanagh’s Lounge on Thurs­day 4th De­cem­ber with the mu­sic sup­plied by Brian Boru Ceili Band. Danc­ing from 9pm til 11pm.

SALE OF WORK

Round­wood & Moneystown Parish An­nual Sale of Work takes place in the GAA Sports Com­plex on Sun­day 14th Dec from 2.00 p.m.-5.30 p.m. Santa will make his ap­pear­ance at 2.30 p.m. Have your Photo taken with him.

There will be all the usual at­trac­tions such as Wheel of For­tune, Bot­tle Stall, Flower Ar­range­ments and Christ­mas Dec­o­ra­tions, Home­made good­ies, White Ele­phant Stall, Bouncy Cas­tle, Roulette, Pho­tos, Games Raf­fles etc. Some new at­trac­tions. Auc­tion and Raf­fle re­sults at ap­prox 5.00 p.m.

The com­mit­tee are ask­ing you to do­nate goods for all our stalls, such as Bot­tles, Home­made goods/cakes, Flower ar­range­ments etc. We also need sand­wiches and cakes for the tea stall.

We would be grate­ful if peo­ple do­nat­ing would check to make sure all toys are clean and that all items do­nated are in work­ing or­der. We can­not ac­cept bro­ken items. Any cloth­ing items must be new i.e. still in packaging or with the Sales tags at­tached.

Please re­mem­ber - if you would not buy the item, it is likely no one else will ei­ther. New helpers and new ideas would be very wel­come – please come along – it is good fun, and would be a great help.

002 BRIDGE CLUB

Re­sults for Fri­day Nov 28th were Ist Molly Byrne and Rachel Judd, 2nd Ger Leni­han and Adri­enne Walsh, 3rd Mon- ica Brady and Bri­die Nolan and 4th Fr Kelly and Cather­ine McGil­licuddy.

AN TOCHAR GAA

The club AGM will be held on Sun­day evening 7th De­cem­ber at 6:00pm in the com­plex. Could all the play­ers, sup­port­ers and every­one with an in­ter­est in the club events please at­tend this most im­por­tant meet­ing.

The an­nual Mass for de­ceased mem­bers of the club will take place in the com­plex on Thurs­day 11th De­cem­ber at 8:00pm. You are all in­vited to this cer­e­mony.

The un­der 16 girls have an im­por­tant fi­nal com­ing up very soon and we need lots of sup­port for th­ese young ladies. Fix­tures meet­ing is as we go to press so be sure to pick up the phone now and ring any of th­ese young ladies or any of­fi­cials in the club as to­mor­row may be too late. So make that call now and have the flags fly­ing.

The ladies will com­mence their seven-a side tour­na­ment this Fri­day 5th De­cem­ber at 7:30pm with two matches this night. Hope to see you all there in good time. The lads con­tinue with the Cullen Cup on Fri­day night and this tour­na­ment is pro­gress­ing well.

Con­grat­u­la­tions to B. Cullen who matched three num­bers in the club lotto last week. This week’s club lotto is worth €13,400 and what a wel­come that would be for the Christ­mas spend.
