Aungier Celtic 3, St. Peter’s Bhoys 1: St. Peter’s re­mark­able run in the Le­in­ster Ju­nior Cup came to a sad end on Sun­day af­ter they were edged out by Aungier.

LE­IN­STER JU­NIOR CUP The Bray side had been putting in some top per­for­mances to get this far in the com­pe­ti­tion but came up short this time around, with a Tony Har­ris ef­fort all they could muster.

Not all bad news for the Bhoys how­ever, as now it gives them an op­por­tu­nity to con­cen­trate fur­ther on re­cap­tur­ing the Premier Divi­sion ti­tle.

Bal­doyle United 6, New­town United 1: Dublin side Bal­doyle United were in ram­pant mood last Sun­day for the visit of New­town’s first team.

The Wick­low side did man­age to score through Terry Mur­phy but it wasn’t go­ing to stop the hosts who hit their vis­i­tors for six.
