A Christ­mas Fun Bingo will take place on this Thurs­day the 11th De­cem­ber in the Old School from 8pm – 10pm. The Christ­mas Bingo will in­clude a cup of tea and a raf­fle for every­one. Fam­ily mem­bers and friends are more than wel­come to at­tend. Cost is €5 per book and great raf­fle prizes. Come along and en­joy.


The Wick­low Man will play in Mon- eystown Com­mu­nity Cen­tre on Fri­day 12th De­cem­ber from 9.30pm un­til 12 mid­night. Teas and mince pies, spot prizes, re­fresh­ments also avail­able. Come along and en­joy a night of waltz­ing, jive etc.


The Round­wood Ac­tive Re­tire­ment Lunch Club will take place on this Fri­day 19th De­cem­ber in the Round­wood Inn at 1.30pm.


There was no jack­pot win­ner in last weeks lotto, the num­bers drawn were 7, 12, 18 & 22. There were five match three win­ners, Jane Hayes, John Byrne, Ann Byrne, J&S Hamil­ton & Cian Law­less. Next week’s jack­pot will be €10,700.

Round­wood & Moneystown Parish An­nual Sale of Work takes place in the GAA Sports Com­plex on Sun­day 14th Dec from 2.00 p.m. – 5.30 p.m. Santa will make his ap­pear­ance at 2.30 p.m. Have your photo taken with him.

There will be all the usual at­trac­tions such as Wheel of For­tune, Bot­tle Stall, Flower Ar­range­ments and Christ­mas Dec­o­ra­tions, Home­made good­ies, White Ele­phant Stall, Bouncy Cas­tle, Roulette, Pho­tos, Games Raf­fles etc. Some new at­trac­tions. Auc­tion and Raf­fle re­sults at ap­prox 5.00 p.m.

The com­mit­tee are ask­ing you to do­nate goods for all our stalls, such as Bot­tles, Home­made goods/cakes, Flower ar­range­ments etc. We also need sand­wiches and cakes for the tea stall.

We would be grate­ful if peo­ple do­nat­ing would check to make sure all toys are clean and that all items do­nated are in work­ing or­der. We can­not ac­cept bro­ken items. Any cloth­ing items must be new i.e. still in packaging or with the Sales tags at­tached.

Please re­mem­ber - if you would not buy the item, it is likely no one else will ei­ther. New helpers and new ideas would be very wel­come – please come along – it is good fun, and would be a great help.

Well done to all the boys & girls who trav­eled down to Grey­stones on Fri­day 5th De­cem­ber and par­tic­i­pated in the Shore­line Leisure Cen­tre Sports Hall Event. A very en­joy­able evening was had by all and many thanks to the par­ents who brought their chil­dren down to the event and to the train­ers who helped out on the night.

Re­sults: U9 Girls - 2nd Place; Lil­lian Mol­loy, Re­becca Mol­loy, Ai­lyce Ma­lynn & Lainey McGee Baker. U9 Boys - 1st Place; Robert Sav­age, Ciaran Byrne, Christo­pher Mur­phy & Oisin Cullen. U11 Girls; An­nie Mor­ris was in the group that came 3rd. U13 Boys 1st Place; Shane Healy, Tier­nan Ka­vanagh, Mark Keenan & Jack Sav­age.


On Thurs­day night 11th De­cem­ber there will be a Mass up­stairs in the com­plex for the de­ceased mem­bers of the club. Every­one is in­vited to at­tend.

Hard luck to the un­der 16 girls team who were beaten in the county fi­nal of the eleven-a-side league. Well done to Hay­ley O’Dea who made some fan­tas­tic saves on the night.

The Cullen Cup con­tin­ues on Fri­day nights and the Ladies tour­na­ment is heat­ing up well so we look for­ward to Fri­day nights at the pitch and you are all wel­come to cheer on the lads and girls.

The AGM was held on Sun­day night and what a pro­duc­tive meet­ing we had. Full de­tails soon and well done to all out­go­ing of­fi­cers for a hard years work they put in for the club through­out the last year.

Con­grat­u­la­tions to P Cor­bett and Kate Dwane who matched three num­bers in the club lotto last week. €13,600 is what the jack­pot is presently worth and this would be most wel­come for Christ­mas so be sure to sup­port the club lotto this week.
