The committee have scheduled the AGM for Thursday 11th December. More details will follow on the AGM in the next few weeks.
This Saturday the 13th December there will be the St. Pat’s Xmas party for all Juvenile members from boys and girls teams and friends. Disco and refreshments will commence at 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. in the evening. At 7.30 we will have the presentation of all awards for the teams for 2008, each and every player will receive medals or certificate of achievement. All members are asked to bring along parents and friends to the party.
From 9.30 p.m. there will be a get together in the club for the adult members of the club. This party is a Christmas thank you to all the people who have given their time and effort to the club throughout the year, players mentors, ticket sellers, all parents involved. We can promise you all a very entertaining evening.
The AGM is scheduled for this Thursday evening the 11th, at 8 p.m. All members are asked to attend. We will try not to keep you late.
The Juvenile Girls won their third trophy in three years last Sunday when Laura Manley collected the U16 B Championship after extra-time with a 2-15 to 3-10 win over Coolkenno in Avondale. It was a great performance by the 18 girls of which 15 are underage next year and 12 played under-14 this year. Training for all Juvenile girls is now finished up until the Spring.
The Ladies AGM was held on Friday night, thank you for everyone who attended. The members would like to thank all the committee for their work in 2008 and wish the new committee members all the best in the next year. Thanks to all the new members who have joined the ladies section this year, ensuring that continued success will continue in the future. The ladies section has only been in existance within the club in the last few years and has proved a major success, thanks to the players and organisation skills of its committee.
