AVONDALE

Bray People - - Bray Sport -

No action on the playing fields now that all our leagues are completed at Senior and juvenile levels. The Juvenile presentation was the only event this weekend which was held in the complex on Saturday evening. Special guest on the evening was the Wicklow Manager Mick O’Dwyer who presented the championship winning medals to our U-16 footballers and medals to our U-14 football Shield winners. Pat Mitchell and Eddie Leonard were also in attendance representing Coiste Na nOg and presented club medals to our U-12 football and hurling teams. Eugene Heffernan and Fergal Olohan representing our Senior hurling and Intermediate football teams presented medals to the U-8 and U-10 football and hurling teams. Chairman Owen Doyle thanked all the kids who played both hurling and football for Avondale during the year, the parents for bringing the kids to matches and the mentors who trained the children. A great evening was had by all with refreshments for both parents and children and music for the kids. Many thanks to the parents who helped out with the refreshments.
