On Saturday morning last we made the long “freezing” journey to the Downes G.A.A. Club in Mullingar to participate in Scor Na Nog Leinster Finals. Unfortunately for the boys and girls of the Village it was not our day, and even though our entry in the Novelty Act “The Matchmaker” went down well with a packed audience it was Longford and Westmeath who qualified. And Simon Dunne also gave it his all with his recitation “If I was a lady”. The cast of The Matchmaker were Holly O Connor, Emma Shorthall, Simon Dunne, Emma Gill, and Christopher Duffy. Many thanks to all who travelled to support us it was much appreciated.

If you are still searching for that perfect Christmas gift, please remember that membership of our state of the art gym is now on offer at unbeatable prices, please contact: Harry 086-2637336, Pat-087-6244618 or Yvonne 086-1690628.
