A CASE was adjourned until next year because a vital witness for the Defences case just gave birth.

James Brady of Lakeside Manor Hotel, Burrenrea, Virginia, Cavan, appeared briefly in court on a charge of drunken driving at the N11, Kilmurray, and dangerous driving at the Glen of the Downs, on March 5.

The Defence barrister told the court that Garda O’Leary would be a vital witness to their case as they had very important questions to put to her.

Judge Murrough Connellan adjourned the matter to March 5 for mention.
