Judge tells man to keep out of trouble
‘I DON’T want to see you before this court again, Judge Murrough Connellan warned a Bray man at last week’s District Court.
Michael Cullen of 5 Saint Peters Road, appeared in court on a charge of being drunk in public on the Strand Road on November 30.
Garda John Thomp- son of Bray Garda Station told the court at 2.40 a.m. he came across Cullen who was very unsteady on his feet and had a strong smell of drink from his breath on the Strand Road.
Judge Connellan asked Cullen how he got himself in such a state. ‘I drank too much because I had a bad day.’
Judge Connellan warned that he hoped Cullen didn’t always drink so much when he had a bad day. The Judge dismissed the charge with the benefit of the probation act and told Cullen he didn’t want to see him before the court again.
