Man on charges in two different courts
A YOUNG Ballybrack man who was given a chance not to come to garda attention again failed to do so and committed further crimes during the time.
Back in February the youth, who cannot be named for legal reasons, appeared in court on charges of theft at Hollands on Main Street, Bray, on August 27 last year. Judge Murrough Connellan put the matter back to last Thursday to see if he came to the attention of gardaí.
The court heard the youth is facing charges at another court for three public order offences and two charges of theft.
The Defence Barrister told the court that the defendant’s mother was in court and she realises her son has a drink problem. The youth is now attending a Youth Reach programme and is doing well and it looks as though he will sit his Leaving Cert. Judge Murrough Connellan entered the youth into a bond to keep the peace for one year.
