Hit with fine for possession of cannabis
‘IF THERE had been a third conviction you could have gotten a jail term,’ Judge Murrough Connellan warned a Bray man at last week’s sitting of the District Court.
Shane Pepper of 39 Dargle Heights, pleaded guilty to two charges of unlawful possession of drugs at the same address on January 30.
Garda John Deasy of Shankill Garda Station told the court he carried out a search of the house while Pepper was present. During the search he found €27.50 of cannabis resin and €36.55 of cannabis herb. For the cannabis resin Judge Connellan convicted and fined Pepper €100.
For the cannabis herb he convicted and fined him €300 and the substance was given to the state for disposal.
