Christmas Cards: These are now on sale price €3.50 per pack of 6 or 3 packs for €10 with the proceeds proving secondary education for orphaned and needy children in our Twin Parish of Ikanga in Kenya. Cards will be available outside the Church after all Masses and from the Parish Office 9.15am to 12.15pm Monday to Friday.
Christmas Carol Service: This will take place in the Church at 4 p.m. on Sunday December 21st.
Christmas Eve Vigil Masses: The 6pm Mass has an emphasis on families with young children and due to the large crowds who attend this Mass every year those without small children are asked to come to a later Mass.
For Health and Safety reasons there will be a video link to the Little Flower Hall to cater with any overflow. There will be another Mass at 8pm while the 11pm Mass will be televised live by RTE and there will be a video link to the Little Flower Hall to cater with any overflow.
Christmas Day Masses: These will be celebrated at 9am, 10.30am and 12 Noon – There will be no Evening Mass. On St. Stephens Day (December 26th) Mass will be at 11am only. On Saturday December 27th at 11am and 6.15pm (Vigil) and at the usual times on Sunday December 28th.
Reconciliation: The Communal Celebration of the Sacrament of Reconciliation will take place in the Church on Saturday morning at 11am.

OUR LADY QUEEN OF PEACE
Villa Pacis: Would all Groups interested in booking a room please contact 2760045. The Villa Pacis caters for a wide variety of groups ranging from Yoga, Community Mothers Group, Meditation, Active Retirement and especially Prayer.
Parish Office Hours: The opening hours are 9.30am to 12.30 Monday to Friday. Masses can only be booked during these hours.
Parish Choir CD: Our Lady Queen of Peace, under the direction of Joe Bollard, have launched a CD called ‘Simply Singing’ which costs €10 and is available from Joe and members of the choir. The CD would make a wonderful gift and all the proceeds are going to the Church Restoration Fund.
Bugisi Mission: Christmas Cards ( new design) in aid our Twin Parish are now on sale in the Villa Pacis – €6 per pack of 12. Her trip was delayed as following an operation of her hand, as her surgeon would not allow her return there until the end of the month.
Carol Service: This will take place on Sunday December 21st at 7.30pm.
Christmas Mass List: Names for the Christmas List must be given into the Parish Office by 1pm Thursday December 18th.
Reconciliation: The Communal Celebration of the Sacrament of Reconciliation will take place in the Church next Monday at 8pm. Individual Confessions will be heard on Christmas Eve from 10.30am to 11.30am and from 7.30pm to 8.30pm.
Christmas Mass Times: There will be no 1.05pm Mass from Christmas Eve until Monday January 5th 2009.

The Cairdeas Group: St. Fergal’s Cairdeas (Friendship) Group meets every Tuesday in St. Clare’s Centre between 2pm to 4pm.
Christmas Cards: A pack of six - €4. The intentions of all those who send or receive Parish Christmas cards will be remembered at all Masses coming up to Christmas in St. Fergals’s.
Christmas Concert: This will take place in the Church at 7.30pm this Sunday night. Admission is free but those attending are invited to bring a gift that will be placed under the Christmas tree that will be distributed by the Women’s Refuge Centre and the St. Clare’s Conference of the St. Vincent de Paul Society.

ST PETER’S LITTLE BRAY
Baptisms: Baptisms are celebrated in St. Peter’s Parish on the 1st Saturday and last Sunday of the month. Those thinking of having their babies baptised are required to complete an application form which must be returned at least 2 weeks before the date of Baptism. These forms are available from the Parish Office, the Sacristy or St. Kevin’s Mass Centre.
Parish Office: The Parish Office which is located in the bungalow opposite the parish hall is closed 1pm to 2.15pm Monday to Friday and Saturdays and Sundays.
Any enquiries regarding the hall, Baptismal application forms , cemetery information and parish activities, should be made to the parish office on weekday mornings from 9am to 1pm.
For copies of Baptismal certificates, booking of Masses etc., should be made to the sacristan in the sacristy Monday to Friday between 9.30am and 10.30am.
Rosary: The Rosary will be prayed in the Church each Sunday at 3pm for world peace and all are welcome to come along.
St.Vincent de Paul Society: This weekend the annual Christmas Collection of the St. Vincent de Paul Society will be taken up at all Masses and will replace the SHARE collection.
Memorial Gallery: Those who placed a photo or memorial cards on the Remembrance Gallery for the month of November can now collect them from the Parish Office.
Director of Music: A vacancy exists for a Director of Music for the 11am Mass on Sundays in St. Peter’s Church Little Bray. Further information available from Fr. Ben Mulligan at 282 2204.
Christmas Cards: This year the Christmas Cards on sale are supporting Crosscare, the Dublin Diocesan Social Agencies, which work with the homeless in the Diocese.
Carol Service: On Sunday there will be a Carol Service by candlelight at 7.30pm in the church and will be followed by tea and mince pies in the Parish hall and all are welcome to attend.

Bray Library hosts four Book Clubs once a month: Please ask the Library for the date of the next meeting of each of these groups.
The Library will close at 5pm on Tuesday December 23rd and not reopen until Thursday December 30th.
SEA SWIM 2009
The organisers of the 26th Annual New Year’s Day Charity Swim in aid of the Bray and Greystones Cancer Support Groups and the Bray Lions Old Folks Fund are recruiting swimmers on behalf of this year’s charities.

The Coffee Dock in the Little Flower Hall closed for Christmas on Sunday and will reopen on Wednesday January 7th 2009.
On Friday there will be a raffle after the 10am Mass in the Church of the Most Holy redeemer, Bray in aid of St. Sebastian’s Chakra Charity.
