A CAMERA missing for over a year has been returned to its owner, thanks to the efforts of Bray man Brian Glynn.
Mr. Glynn, who found the camera on the beach 14 months ago, duly handed the item in to the gardaí. He returned after a year and they gave it to him as it had not been claimed.
Eager to find the owner of the digital camera, he asked his daughter to look at it and she put a family picture from it on to a disk, which he brought to the Bray People.
The photograph was published, and locals recognised members of the Kelly family, from St. Peter’s road. The camera belongs to Glenn Kelly, a man in his 30s.
Mr. Kelly then phoned Brian Glynn, who asked him to come along to collect the item, which contained photos of huge sentimental value from a number of family events. ‘Thanks very much to Mr. Glynn for the effort he went to return the camera to Glenn,’ said Mr. Kelly.
