THE TWO Charity matches run by Glencormac United F.C. will take place this Sunday, December 28.
The first game is at 1 p.m. and will see the coaches take on the U16 team for the Joe Molloy Memorial Shield. This is followed by the senior team v the Youth Team at 2.15 p.m. for the Benny Finnerty Cup. Unfortunately, due to an incident last year, only signed players can partake in this game and it is with regret that it cannot feature the past against the present teams.
However, remembering two fantastic people in Joe and Benny is the whole idea of the day and both players and spectators are asked to donate at least five euro each with the money divided between ‘The Irish Heart Foundation’ and Bray Cancer Support.
Please come along on the day if you can make it and it is hoped to see the past team still come along to see can the Youths make Paddy Harvey a few quid by winning the senior game.
