Plans for Kelly’s Farm development available in January

Bray People - - 2008 Review -

NEW PLANS for a refused development on Kelly’s Farm at Chapel Road, Blacklion, will be available in early January, according to developers.

A meeting to discuss the proposed development was held in the Glenview Hotel recently and attended by residents of the area.

The meeting was hosted by Gerard Winston, a marketing company representing the scheme’s developers Townpark Estates. It is understood that the development was recently refused planning permission by An Bord Pleanala. A number of Backlion residents had objected to the proposals.

While residents said they were disappointed, new plans were not available for inspection at that meeting, plans are expected to be available in January.

Townpark Estates will make another submission for planning permission for the project to Wicklow County Council towards the end of the month.
