Sun­beam House gets fi­nan­cial in­jec­tion boost

SUN­BEAM HOUSE in Bray got a cash in­jec­tion last week when they re­ceived fund­ing un­der the Cap­i­tal Fund­ing and Re­me­dial Works scheme.

The fund­ing which was an­nounced on Fri­day will see Sun­beam House re­ceive €1,949,000. Over­all a to­tal of €94 mil­lion was an­nounced un­der the fund­ing which will see the construction of 26 new vol­un­tary and co­op­er­a­tive hous­ing projects and five re­me­dial works na­tion­wide.

Mak­ing the an­nounce­ment in Bal­lina, Co. Mayo Deputy Michael Fin­neran said ‘in­di­vid­u­als and fam­i­lies in need of so­cial hous­ing sup­ports will

schemes be given the op­por­tu­ni­ties to have th­ese needs met in a way that is ap­pro­pri­ate for them, now and in the fu­ture. We will do this by find­ing more in­no­va­tive ways of de­liv­er­ing so­cial and af­ford­able hous­ing.’
