ENTRIES ARE being sought for the first ever Bray Music Video Festival, with the best submissions to be screened over the course of the three-day event to be held in June.
The festival is the brain-child of Bray man Ross Howard and his business partner Michael Donnelly, both of whom are graduates of Bray Institute of Further Education and now working in the industry.
There will also be live music and workshops over the weekend in the Mermaid from June 18 to 20. Organisers hope that the festival will inspire young up and coming directors to make music videos.
The categories will include Best Shot, Best Cut, Best Directed, Best International and Best Overall Video, with some excellent prizes including studio time at Ardmore, a lighting rental package and a practical FX package.
The closing date for entries is March 28. For more information go to www.braymvf.com.
