This game went ahead thanks to the home sides all weather pitch and the 12’s came away with the three points after an emphatic 7-nil victory. Mark O’Brien score three goals for the second game in a row to show that brother ‘Nelly’ isn’t the only O’Brien who knows where the goal is.

The ever-improving Darragh Carthy added two goals and there were excellent finishes by Sean Dease & Lydia Sinnott-Elliott to complete the goal tally. In a good team display, Chantelle Owens, Steven Kennedy and Ciaran Daly were among the players to shine.
